Sichuan Airlines launches new Chongqing-Kuala Lumpur route
The new service operates three times a week.
Sichuan Airlines has launched a new direct flight service from Chongqing, China to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This move aims to boost connectivity and strengthen cultural ties under the Belt and Road Initiative.
The inaugural flight, 3U 3773, took off on December 18 and landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 at approximately 11:45 p.m.
The new route marks the airline’s second service to Malaysia, following the Chengdu route. It operates three times a week and is served by Airbus A321/A320 aircraft with a capacity of 160 passengers.
