Vietnam sees surge in year-end family travel interest
Agoda data shows a 30% year-on-year rise in searches, led by travellers from South Korea and India.
Vietnam is emerging as a popular year-end travel destination for families across the region and beyond, according to data from Agoda.
Based on searches made between September and November 2025 for stays during December 2025 and January 2026, Agoda recorded a 30% year-on-year (YoY) increase in family travel interest to Vietnam.
The trend is led by travellers from South Korea, followed by families from India, Singapore, Australia, and Malaysia.
Notably, Indian families recorded the strongest growth in travel interest to Vietnam during this period, with a 186% increase in searches. Malaysian families also showed rising interest, with searches increasing by 74%.
In terms of destinations, Phu Quoc led the rankings with a 47% increase in searches. Da Nang followed with 42% growth, while Nha Trang secured third place. Ho Chi Minh City ranked fourth, with Hanoi rounding out the top five.
