Design Hotels adds 14 new properties across APAC

The new hotels span Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and India.

Design Hotels, part of Marriott International’s hotel brand portfolio, has added over 14 properties across Asia-Pacific.

These additions extend across six countries, including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and India.

Notable openings include The ArcadiaPlace, Lugu Lake in Sichuan, China; Public House, Bangkok in Thailand; Yoruya in Kurashiki, Japan; ELSE Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia; Magia de Uma, Bali in Indonesia; and Hotel Irada, Pune in India.

In 2025, the Asia-Pacific region accounted for a record 28% of the brand’s global portfolio growth.
