The new openings include two properties in India scheduled for 2026 and one in Nepal, which was recently launched.
Marriott is further expanding its portfolio in Asia, with new openings in South Asia this year and through 2026. These new openings involve two properties in India and one in Nepal.
In Uttarakhand, India, a new Le Méridien hotel will open its doors in Q1 2026. Le Méridien Dehradun Resort & Spa will feature 104 rooms, including nine suites. Amenities in the premium property will include the Explore Spa, dining venues, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool.
A new luxury opening is expected in Q4 2026, in Rajasthan, India. JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa will offer 127 accommodations, including tented suites and family tents.
Guests can enjoy six food and beverage (F&B) options, a fitness center, the Spa by JW, a swimming pool, as well as recreational facilities such as the Kids Club and the Safari Lounge.
This December, Marriott’s select brand Moxy debuted in Nepal’s capital city, Kathmandu. Moxy Kathmandu, located in Durbarmarg, offers 101 guestrooms, designed with smart features and modular layouts.
The hotel also offers guests a wide range of amenities, including a fitness center and various F&B options such as The Moxy Bar, LA HACIENDA – Barra y Cocina Latina, CARIÑO – Terraza Latina, and the Moxy Hookup.
