Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its development pipeline in Indonesia with the signing of Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan, a member of Radisson Individuals. The planned property will add 145 rooms to the Group’s portfolio and extend its presence in Bali, one of the key leisure destinations within Southeast Asia.
Scheduled to open by the end of 2029, Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan will comprise 145 rooms, including 22 suites. The newly built hotel will consist of two four-story buildings arranged around a central swimming pool, with the development structured around a resort-oriented hospitality concept.
The signing adds another property to Radisson Hotel Group’s growing Indonesian portfolio. The Group currently operates three hotels in the country, representing 593 rooms, while five additional hotels with a combined 672 rooms are under development. Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan will add to this development pipeline and further increase the Group’s presence in Bali.
The property will be located in Ungasan, on Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, an area associated with beach, lifestyle, wellness and upscale hospitality offerings. Its location places the planned hotel within reach of several established attractions in southern Bali, supporting its positioning within the island’s leisure accommodation market.
Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan is expected to be approximately one hour by car from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Melasti Beach will be around five minutes away, while several other destinations across southern Bali will be accessible within approximately 10 to 20 minutes by car. Nearby attractions will include Uluwatu, known for its surf breaks and cliffside temple, and Pura Batu Mejan, an oceanfront site associated with local ceremonies and spiritual significance.
For Radisson Hotel Group, the development also expands the application of its Radisson Individuals affiliation model in Indonesia. Radisson Individuals is a collection of independent hotels that maintain their own character and identity while operating in accordance with Radisson Hotel Group’s quality and service standards.
The model provides affiliated properties with access to the Group’s global commercial systems, operational expertise and Radisson Rewards loyalty programme. For independent hotel developments, these components form part of the commercial and operational framework available through the affiliation while allowing individual properties to retain their identity.
Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan will feature facilities spanning dining, leisure and wellness. The planned offering includes an all-day dining restaurant with an outdoor terrace, a speakeasy bar, a pool bar, a spa, a gym, a yoga room and a swimming pool. The property will comprise two four-story buildings positioned around the central pool.
The hotel’s facilities and room inventory will form part of its operating proposition when the property opens in 2029. Its 145-room configuration will include 22 suites, creating a combination of standard accommodation and larger room categories within the planned development.
The signing also adds to Radisson Hotel Group’s broader Bali portfolio. Existing and planned properties in the destination include Radisson Blu Resort Bali Uluwatu and upcoming developments in Canggu and Ubud. Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan therefore becomes another development within the Group’s expanding coverage of Bali’s leisure destinations.
At the national level, the development follows Radisson Hotel Group’s continued expansion through multiple brands and hotel locations across Indonesia. The Group’s current Indonesian presence includes three operating hotels, while its five properties under development represent 672 rooms. The addition of Bloom Hotel Bali Ungasan brings another 145 rooms into the announced pipeline.
The development is being positioned within Bali’s southern hospitality market, with its Ungasan location connecting the planned hotel to destinations including Melasti Beach and Uluwatu. The proximity of these attractions, alongside the planned dining, wellness and leisure facilities, forms part of the property’s development profile.
