Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) has entered into a Strategic Partnership Program agreement with HXE in Singapore, combining its international hotel portfolio with HXE’s digital MICE platform to expand access to corporate meetings and events opportunities. Announced on 7 August 2026, the collaboration is designed to strengthen MHR’s position within the global meetings and events ecosystem while integrating digital tools across the MICE sales journey.

The partnership brings together MHR’s network of more than 145 properties across 80 destinations and HXE’s platform covering over 150,000 hotels and venues, alongside a corporate client network of more than 400,000 businesses. The combined ecosystem is intended to connect qualified MICE demand with MHR’s hotel portfolio and destination expertise, while supporting the sourcing, management and delivery of business events.

For MHR, the agreement provides participating hotels with access to HXE’s digital platform, tools and client network. HXE will support the sales journey from lead generation and enquiry management through follow-up, allowing participating properties to focus on converting opportunities and delivering events. The arrangement also reinforces MHR’s “Where Business Connects” proposition by increasing the group’s visibility among HXE’s corporate and MICE customer base.

The commercial focus comes as China’s outbound MICE sector continues to generate opportunities for international hospitality businesses. MHR Chief Commercial Officer Cinn Tan highlighted the demand from corporates and associations seeking hotel partners capable of supporting business requirements across international destinations. The HXE partnership provides MHR with an additional channel to capture qualified demand from MICE sourcing platforms and connect high-intent planners with its hotels, meeting spaces and destination expertise.

The scale of the two organisations’ networks is central to the partnership. MHR operates more than 145 properties across 80 destinations, while HXE’s network includes over 150,000 hotels and venues and more than 400,000 corporate clients. HXE’s corporate reach gives participating MHR properties access to a broader pool of business-event demand, while MHR contributes an international portfolio covering destinations including Singapore, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and Dubai.

The technology component extends across multiple stages of the MICE customer journey. HXE describes its platform as supporting digital customer acquisition, service and offline experiences, creating an integrated approach between MICE activity and hotel operations. Its platform also covers more than 80 event-scenario-based phygital technology solutions, supported by business insights and data accumulated through hundreds of thousands of events.

HXE CEO Liang Yang said the collaboration is intended to enable HXE’s corporate customer base to reach hundreds of MHR hotels across 80 major destination cities. The platform is positioned to support international hotel groups through digital acquisition, service and event experiences, with the partnership targeting greater efficiency in connecting corporate demand with participating MHR properties.

Beyond demand generation, the agreement forms part of MHR’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the global meetings and events ecosystem. The partnership combines MHR’s hotel portfolio and destination expertise with HXE’s technology platform and corporate network, with both organisations working toward a more connected MICE operating environment for customers worldwide.

The Strategic Partnership Program is scheduled to commence in August 2026. MHR and HXE will work together to drive qualified MICE demand across selected Millennium Hotels & Resorts properties globally, with the activity focused on meeting planners, corporate clients and hotel partners.

HXE operates as a MICE sourcing and booking platform connecting corporations, associations and event agencies with hotels and venues. Its network spans more than 150,000 hotels and venues across over 300 cities, while its platform supports the MICE journey from sourcing and proposals through booking, on-site execution and business data insights.

For MHR, the partnership adds a digital distribution and sourcing channel to its international meetings and events business. Its portfolio includes properties under brands such as The Biltmore, Grand Millennium, Millennium, M Social, Studio M, M Hotel, Copthorne and Kingsgate, spanning four continents and 80 destinations.
