Marriott to add 1,900 keys across Vietnam under new agreement

Marriott International has signed an agreement with Masterise Group to open four hotels, with one branded residence, in Vietnam.

The agreement will add approximately 1,900 keys to the group’s portfolio in the country through new luxury, premium, and select hotel brands.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the group will introduce The Ritz-Carlton, Saigon and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Saigon in District One, bringing a 231-room hotel and a separate tower with 420 branded residences.

In the city’s coastal district in Can Gio, Marriott will open JW Marriott Hotel Saigon Can Gio and Four Points by Sheraton Saigon, Can Gio as part of the 2,870-hectare Can Gio Coastal Urban Tourism Area.

In addition, Co Loa Marriott Hotel will mark the group’s debut in Hanoi. Currently under construction next to the National Exhibition & Convention Center, the property is expected to feature 494 rooms and suites.

Amenities in the hotel will include four restaurants, lounges, an outdoor pool, a spa, a fitness center and a function space spanning 3,000 square meters.

As of Q3 2025, Marriott has 29 properties under 12 brands across Vietnam and over 30 properties in the pipeline.
