Hilton expands across APAC with 12 new properties in 2026

The hotel chain will open new properties under various brands including Curio Collection, Waldorf Astoria, Canopy, Signia, and Conrad.

Hilton is set to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region in 2026 with 12 new properties spanning multiple brands, from luxury and lifestyle to wellness-focused resorts. The openings will take the company into new markets while reinforcing its footprint in established destinations.

The year begins with a strong showing in China, Malaysia, and India. In Wuxi, Xi Zhe Wuxi, Curio Collection by Hilton, will cater to travelers seeking wellness experiences, featuring an indoor pool and fitness center.

Malaysia will welcome Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort, a 251-room property offering an extensive array of amenities, including an outdoor sauna, onsen-style rock plunge pools, a salt room, an executive lounge, a kids’ club, cooking and tea pavilions, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and more than 800 square meters of flexible event space.

India will see Hilton’s first lifestyle property with Slohh by Roach Bengaluru, Curio Collection by Hilton, designed for both business and leisure travelers seeking a contemporary, locally inspired experience.

In the second quarter, Hilton will expand further across the Pacific and Japan. Hilton Garden Inn Suva in Fiji will offer 78 guest rooms, a restaurant and bar, a fully equipped gym, and a pool, all located on the scenic Suva foreshore.

In Japan, Canopy by Hilton Okinawa Miyako Island Resort will open with 310 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, bar and lounge, rooftop pool and bar, spa, fitness center, transfer lounge, kids’ club, and flexible event space, conveniently located within 15 minutes of Miyako Airport and 25 minutes from Shimojishima Airport.

The third quarter brings new properties across Taiwan, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand. Signia by Hilton Tainan will offer 344 rooms, dining options including an all-day restaurant and specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge, spa, fitness center, swimming pool, and over 19,000 square feet of meeting space, with easy access to airports, shopping, museums, and cultural landmarks.

Conrad Kuala Lumpur will feature 481 rooms across 50 floors, two restaurants, two bars, a spa, fitness center, swimming pool, and two floors of meeting space, while Conrad Nagoya will provide 170 guest rooms spanning 13 stories of a new 41-story mixed-use building, complemented by four restaurants, a rooftop bar, gym, spa, indoor pool, executive lounge, meeting rooms, and a 180-person ballroom.

Thailand will see Canopy by Hilton Bangkok Sukhumvit, offering 174 rooms, a rooftop bar, and event spaces near major retail and lifestyle destinations, including Terminal 21, EmSphere, Emporium, and EmQuartier.

In Q4, Hilton will highlight luxury experiences with Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur. It will feature 272 suites across 23 floors, with dining venues such as Peacock Alley, over 4,250 square meters of meeting and event space, and the 1,590-square-meter, pillarless Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom.

Located steps from premier shopping and cultural landmarks in Bukit Bintang, including Pavilion Mall and Suria KLCC, the property reinforces Hilton’s commitment to luxury hospitality in the region.

Additional highlights for 2026 include Hilton’s first NoMad hotel in APAC, NoMad Singapore, offering 173 rooms in the heart of Orchard Road, and DoubleTree by Hilton Robertson Quay in Singapore, introducing the DoubleTree brand with 344 rooms near Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Orchard Road, and cultural landmarks such as Fort Canning Park, Arab Street, Bugis, and Chinatown.
