Dusit Expands Well-Fest 2026 Across Destinations

Dusit Hotels and Resorts is expanding its Well-Fest initiative in June 2026, introducing a broader range of wellness-focused experiences across participating properties in Asia and other international destinations. Inspired by Global Wellness Day, the month-long campaign will run from 1 to 30 June under the theme “Reset | Reconnect | Reignite,” offering guests opportunities to engage in activities designed to support rest, mindfulness, movement, and meaningful connection.

Announced on 29 May 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, the initiative marks the fifth year of Well-Fest and reflects growing demand among travellers for wellness experiences that extend beyond traditional leisure offerings. Dusit Hotels and Resorts, part of Dusit International’s global portfolio of luxury retreats, wellness resorts, lifestyle hotels, and city hotels, has developed the programme in response to changing travel preferences that increasingly prioritise emotional well-being, healthier lifestyles, quality sleep, and personal restoration.

Throughout June, guests staying at participating properties in destinations including Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, Guam, the Philippines, the Maldives, and other locations will have access to a range of wellness activities. Programmes will vary according to destination and property, allowing each hotel or resort to incorporate local culture, culinary traditions, wellness practices, and guest preferences into its offerings.

Experiences planned for Well-Fest 2026 include sunrise yoga sessions, mindful movement classes, sound healing rituals, wellness-focused dining experiences featuring locally sourced ingredients, and sleep-oriented programmes designed to encourage rest and relaxation. Guests will also be able to participate in activities such as ice baths, floating sound therapy sessions, family wellness workshops, and moonlight storytelling experiences.

The expansion comes as wellness tourism continues to gain momentum globally. According to figures cited by Dusit from the Global Wellness Institute’s 2025 Global Wellness Economy Monitor, the global wellness economy reached a record value of US$6.8 trillion in 2024 and is projected to approach US$10 trillion by 2029.

Florence Jaffre, Corporate Director of Wellness and Kids’ Experience at Dusit International, said well-being remains an important component of guest experiences across the company’s hotel brands, ranging from lifestyle-oriented ASAI Hotels to the ultra-luxury Devarana Dusit Retreats.

She noted that travellers are increasingly seeking opportunities to slow down, improve sleep quality, reconnect with family and friends, and return from trips feeling restored. Well-Fest, she said, reflects Dusit’s ongoing focus on creating meaningful wellness experiences throughout its portfolio.

The Well-Fest 2026 programme is structured around three themes derived from Devarana Wellness, Dusit’s group-wide wellness concept. The “Reset” pillar focuses on rest, mindfulness, recovery, and balance. “Reconnect” emphasises shared experiences, community engagement, and meaningful relationships, while “Reignite” encourages movement, creativity, vitality, and renewed energy.

Alongside these themes, the programme explores wellness through three lifestyle areas that are becoming increasingly relevant within hospitality: sleep, nutrition, and play. Dusit has incorporated these dimensions into its wellness programming to create experiences that extend beyond traditional spa services and integrate wellness into the overall guest stay.

Several flagship properties across the group will introduce specialised programmes during the month-long campaign.

In Thailand, Dusit Thani Bangkok, recognised with a Michelin Key, will present holistic wellness journeys that combine mindful dining, restorative sleep experiences, fitness activities, spa treatments, sound healing, and personalised wellness rituals inspired by Thai healing traditions.

At Dusit Thani Hua Hin, guests will be able to participate in experiences such as the “Fire & Frost Retreat,” which combines Muay Thai training with ice bath sessions. The resort will also offer “Sunset Floating Sound Healing” programmes and wellness activities designed for families.

Meanwhile, Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket plans to introduce guided cycling journeys, mindful beach walks, wellness-focused culinary experiences, and creative activities inspired by local culture and the natural environment.

In the Maldives, Dusit Thani Maldives will focus on nature-based wellness experiences. Guests will be invited to participate in floating sound bath sessions, enjoy Ayurvedic-inspired wellness dining, and explore the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll through ocean-based activities.

Japan’s Michelin Key-recognised Dusit Thani Kyoto will offer programmes influenced by seasonality and nature. Planned experiences include the hotel’s “Dusit Farm Retreat” programme, WATSU healing sessions, and sound bath therapy designed to encourage relaxation and deeper personal connection.

Other participating properties across the portfolio will also introduce destination-specific wellness offerings. At Dusit Thani Manila in the Philippines, guests can join “Rope Flow” movement sessions, while Dusit Hotel Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi in Vietnam will feature “Sunrise Reset” wellness rituals and “Bedtime Story – Moonlight Tale” evening experiences. Additional activities throughout the portfolio will focus on mindfulness, movement, cultural immersion, and social connection.
