Clinique La Prairie Expands Southeast Asia With Phuket Health Resort

2026-08-10 09:32 News Thailand
PHUKET, ThailandClinique La Prairie is set to open its first resort in Southeast Asia at Tri Vananda in Phuket in November 2026, extending the Swiss brand’s longevity expertise into a dedicated hospitality setting. The development will combine preventive health services with accommodation, nutrition, movement, wellbeing and nature-based experiences across a 960,000-square-meter site of forest and lakes.

The opening forms part of Clinique La Prairie’s wider international expansion. The Swiss preventive medicine specialist already operates Longevity Hubs in cities including Madrid, Bangkok, Doha, Taipei and Dubai, alongside major projects in China and Saudi Arabia. Its Phuket development introduces a different operating format, with the medical and longevity offering positioned at the center of a resort environment.

At Tri Vananda, Clinique La Prairie will operate 40 private pool villas surrounded by the destination’s natural landscape. The villas are designed with contemporary architecture, natural materials and open spaces, with views of the surrounding mountains and lakes. The accommodation is positioned as part of the longevity journey, providing private spaces intended for rest, recovery and regeneration.

The wider Tri Vananda development covers more than 230 acres, with 85% of the area preserved as forest and lakes. Its architectural approach incorporates biophilic design to maintain connections between the built environment and surrounding nature. The development also has a long-term target of becoming carbon-negative within 30 years.

For Clinique La Prairie, the Phuket project extends its existing Longevity Method™ into a full destination-based format. The approach is centered on preventive health and aims to support healthspan through an integrated program covering Medicine, Nutrition, Movement and Wellbeing.

The process begins with the Longevity Master Assessment, a 360-degree health evaluation covering more than 300 indicators. The results are used by the medical team to develop personalized programs across the four areas of the Longevity Method™. Progress is then monitored continuously rather than being limited to the duration of a guest’s stay.

This medical framework is integrated into the resort’s hospitality facilities. Alongside the private pool villas, Clinique La Prairie Phuket will feature a culinary operation combining nutrition science and gastronomy. Its approach incorporates anti-inflammatory principles and targeted supplementation, with food and dining positioned within the broader health program.

The development will also include a Longevity Spa offering bespoke treatments and a Technogym fitness center equipped with modern training equipment. Tailored fitness programs are designed to support performance and wellbeing as part of the overall health-focused experience.

The combination of clinical services, accommodation and supporting hospitality facilities establishes a resort model in which the longevity program is integrated throughout the guest journey. Rather than operating as a standalone medical facility within a conventional resort structure, Clinique La Prairie’s Phuket operation places its longevity methodology across the accommodation, culinary, spa, fitness and wellbeing components.

The location also represents an expansion of Clinique La Prairie’s presence in Asia. The brand already has freestanding longevity clinics across the region, while its Phuket operation will introduce a dedicated resort format to Southeast Asia. The project is therefore connected to the company’s broader strategy of extending its longevity services into additional international markets and hospitality environments.

Tri Vananda provides the physical setting for this expansion, with its combination of preserved forest, lakes and biophilic architecture supporting the resort’s nature-oriented positioning. The scale of the site allows Clinique La Prairie to establish its 40-villa operation within a wider natural environment rather than as an urban longevity facility.

For hospitality businesses, the development brings together several operating components within one destination: medical assessment, personalized health programming, nutrition, accommodation, spa services, fitness and wellbeing. Each component forms part of the same guest journey under the Clinique La Prairie Longevity Method™.

The Phuket opening is scheduled for November 2026, marking the first Clinique La Prairie resort in Southeast Asia. The project will bring the brand’s Swiss longevity expertise, developed over nearly a century, into a destination-based hospitality format at Tri Vananda.
