Banyan group hits 100th hotel milestone with new Singapore property

The new hotel is owned by Mandai Wildlife Group, a Singapore-based zoological institution that manages the Mandai Wildlife Reserve.

Banyan Group and Mandai Wildlife Group unveiled the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree in Singapore, marking the company’s first hotel in the country and its 100th property globally.

Owned by Mandai Wildlife Group, the 4.6-hectare resort features biophilic design and sustainable initiatives, including interactive displays in each room that monitor power usage and rainwater harvesting systems repurposed for flushing.

The resort offers a signature restaurant, Forage, and the Banyan Tree Spa, as well as The Meranti Ballroom for events such as weddings. Guests can also enjoy exclusive amenities, including The Discovery Forest and The Edible Garden, providing immersive views and nature experiences.

“Here, guests are invited to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience travel as a force that uplifts people, places, and communities,” said Eddy See, President and CEO, Banyan Group.

“As the first resort within a world-leading wildlife and nature destination in a capital city, it offers an unparalleled opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy meaningful wildlife experiences right at their doorstep, a powerful expression of Singapore’s City in Nature vision,” See added.
