Dusit International to operate new lifestyle hotel in the Philippines

ASAI Camaya Coast in Mariveles, Bataan is expected to open in 2029.

Dusit International has signed a hotel management contract with Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation, a real estate and land-development company in the Philippines, to operate a new lifestyle hotel in Mariveles, Bataan, about 162 km from Manila.

Scheduled to open in 2029, ASAI Camaya Coast is a 150-key hotel situated within the 20 million sq m Camaya Coast development in Mariveles.

The property will become the first ASAI Hotels–branded property located within a large-scale, master-planned seaside development. It will offer access to dining and retail areas, outdoor activity hubs, a water park, an 18-hole golf course, expansive event spaces, and the white-sand beach.

In 2024, Bataan welcomed 1.2 million visitors, a 41.16% year-over-year increase, according to the Provincial Tourism Office.

“With visitor arrivals in Bataan showing exceptionally strong growth, and with the township set to benefit from expanded infrastructure and improved connectivity, we see tremendous long-term potential for creating memorable guest experiences rooted in community, culture, and the natural environment,” said Gilles Cretallaz, Chief Operating Officer, Dusit International.

Dusit currently operates five properties in the Philippines, including Dusit Thani Manila, Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort, Dusit Thani Residence Davao, dusitD2 Davao, and Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort.

From 2026 onwards, the company plans to expand its presence in the country with openings to include Dusit Hotel Greenhills Manila, Plaza de Zamboanga – Dusit Collection, Dusit Princess hotels in Lipa and Cebu, ASAI Oslob Cebu, and dusitD2 Residences Cebu City.
