The agreement was announced on 2 June 2026 in Hanoi and represents a new addition to Ascott’s growing presence in Vietnam. The property will be located at 86 Quang An Street in Tay Ho, one of Hanoi’s most established upscale residential and lifestyle districts.
The upcoming development is positioned along the Quang An Peninsula with direct frontage to West Lake and will feature 178 keys comprising residences, suites, and duplex units. The project is also set to become a flagship development for Ascott in Vietnam and a significant addition to The Crest Collection’s expanding footprint across Asia.
The collaboration brings together Ascott and DOJI Group, one of Vietnam’s five largest private enterprises. DOJI Group is known for its operations in the gold, silver, and gemstone industry and has expanded its presence into luxury real estate, hospitality, and resort services.
For Ascott, the signing adds to its portfolio of 40 properties and more than 10,200 units across operational and pipeline developments in Vietnam. The project also supports the continued international growth of The Crest Collection, a luxury hospitality brand first launched in France in 2016.
The Crest Collection is built around the brand concept “A Story Behind Every Door,” with each property designed to reflect the heritage, culture, and identity of its destination. The brand currently operates in several international cities, including Paris, Singapore, Bangkok, Tokyo, and London.
The introduction of the brand to Hanoi comes as the Vietnamese capital continues attracting travelers seeking luxury accommodation experiences that incorporate local culture, heritage, and design. Diamond Crown Westlake by The Crest Collection is intended to offer a hospitality experience closely connected to Hanoi’s cultural character and lakeside environment.
Located in Tay Ho, the property occupies one of the city's most sought-after addresses. The district has long been known as a preferred residential area for expatriates, diplomats, and affluent local residents. Its proximity to embassies, commercial districts, and lifestyle destinations positions the development within one of Hanoi’s most internationally connected neighborhoods.
The accommodation offering will include one-bedroom to four-bedroom residences, suites, and duplex units designed around an elevated lakeside living concept. Guests will have access to a range of hospitality facilities, including an all-day dining restaurant, café bar, reading room, executive lounge, gym, spa, kids’ club, and swimming pool.
The property's location also provides direct access to international dining venues, boutique cafés, and lifestyle retail outlets surrounding West Lake. Guests will be situated within an established expatriate community while remaining connected to Hanoi’s commercial and administrative centers.
Ascott expects the property to appeal to multiple demand segments within the hospitality market. These include upscale leisure travelers, diplomatic visitors, embassy-related guests, expatriates seeking extended stays, relocating professionals, and domestic travelers looking for premium staycation experiences.
According to Ascott, the development represents an important milestone for the company’s luxury hospitality portfolio in Vietnam. The project also expands the presence of The Crest Collection in Asia, where the brand continues to pursue growth in destinations known for strong cultural identity and international appeal.
David Cumming, Regional General Manager of Indochina at Ascott, said the launch of The Crest Collection in Hanoi reflects increasing demand for luxury hospitality experiences that are closely connected to culture, place, and storytelling.
He noted that Tay Ho is among Hanoi’s most internationally recognized neighborhoods and aligns with the positioning of The Crest Collection brand. He also highlighted the collaboration with DOJI Group in developing a destination that combines luxury accommodation with local character.
DOJI Group described the partnership as part of its strategy to expand further into the luxury hospitality and resort sector. Le Thi Hien of DOJI Gold & Gems Group said the collaboration with Ascott brings together the experience and reputation of two established companies and is expected to deliver high-end accommodation and resort experiences.
The development is expected to strengthen Hanoi’s luxury hospitality offering through its lakeside location, accommodation mix, and guest facilities. The property is designed to combine hospitality services with cultural elements and destination-focused experiences associated with The Crest Collection brand.
Once completed, Diamond Crown Westlake by The Crest Collection will join Ascott’s portfolio of luxury and serviced residence properties in Vietnam while establishing the first presence of The Crest Collection in Hanoi. The project also represents the inaugural hospitality partnership between Ascott and DOJI Group as both companies expand their presence in the country’s luxury accommodation market.
