Marriott expands Aloft brand in China with new Shanghai hotel

The new 295-key hotel is located near the Hongqiao transportation hub.

Marriott International’s Aloft Hotels brand unveiled a new property in the West Hongqiao Business District in Shanghai, China.

Aloft Shanghai Hongqiao offers 295 rooms and suites, along with a range of dining, fitness, and family-friendly amenities. Guests can enjoy all-day meals at Depot by Aloft, quick bites at 24/7 Re:fuel by Aloft, and drinks at the W XYZ® Bar. The hotel also features a 24/7 Re:charge gym, an outdoor terrace, a dedicated kids’ space at Camp Aloft, and a pet-friendly experience through the ARF (Animals Are Fun) program.

In addition, the hotel offers approximately 1,000 square meters of function space, including a nearly 400-square-meter ballroom equipped with audiovisual technology and professional services.

It is located on Panzhong East Road in Xujing Town, Qingpu District, near the National Exhibition and Convention Center and the Hongqiao transportation hub.

The hotel is also about 5 kilometers from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and 4 kilometers from Hongqiao Railway Station and enjoys proximity to attractions such as Panlong Tiandi, SHOWAY Outlets, Qibao Ancient Town, and Zhujiajiao Water Town.
