Malaysia Airlines resumes Kuala Lumpur-Chengdu service

The resumption of the service follows the extension of mutual visa-free travel arrangements between Malaysia and China.

Malaysia Airlines, the country’s flagship carrier, has resumed flights from Kuala Lumpur to Chengdu, China.

The inaugural flight, MH526, which departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) Terminal 1 to Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) on 9 January, recorded a 91% load factor on its outbound leg. The service operates up to seven times weekly.

The resumption of the service follows the extension of mutual visa-free travel arrangements between Malaysia and China.

The Kuala Lumpur-Chengdu route brings Malaysia Airlines’ served destinations across Greater China to seven.
