Hotels will be used to accommodate pilgrims for their departure preparations and their return.

Indonesia’s 2026 Hajj has partnered with hotels to accommodate pilgrims for their departure preparations and their return.

According to the Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mohammad Irfan Yusuf, transportation and catering services are now ready, while accommodation in Medina in Saudi Arabia is about 93% complete.

“We have secured two syarikah (service partners) that will serve Indonesian Hajj pilgrims. In addition, locations for Hajj rituals in Armuzna—Arafah, Muzdalifah, and Mina—have also been confirmed,” Yusuf said.

Regarding flights, Yusuf said all schedules have been finalized earlier than in previous years. “Requests for flight slots to Saudi Arabia have been submitted by two airlines, Saudia Airlines and Garuda Indonesia,” he said.

Two new embarkation points have been added this year which are Banten, which will serve some pilgrims from West Java, and Yogyakarta.
