Hilton to open its third Waldorf Astoria hotel in India
The upcoming hotel is part of the group’s plan to expand its Asia Pacific portfolio to 250 hotels in the next few years.
Hilton is set to debut the Waldorf Astoria brand on India’s west coast with the signing of Waldorf Astoria Goa, marking the brand's third property in the country, alongside Waldorf Astoria Jaipur and Waldorf Astoria New Delhi.
The signing is part of the group’s plan to expand its Asia Pacific portfolio to 250 hotels in the next few years.
Scheduled to open in 2030, Waldorf Astoria Goa will feature 148 rooms, suites, and villas. The property will also offer a specialty beachfront restaurant, a rooftop bar, a spa, a fitness center, swimming pools, as well as an approximately 10,800 square feet of event and meeting space
“Set along a pristine 20-acre waterfront stretch in South Goa, the hotel will offer sweeping, uninterrupted views of the Arabian Sea. Surrounded by natural beauty, open horizons, and Goa’s distinctive coastal character, the setting provides a fitting backdrop for Waldorf Astoria’s signature approach to luxury — one rooted in timeless elegance, a strong sense of place, and highly personalized service,” Alan Watts, President, Asia Pacific, Hilton
