Hyatt debuts The Unbound Collection in Thailand

The two new hotels will open in 2026 and 2028, respectively.

Hyatt Hotels Corp., through an affiliate, has signed management agreements with Chai Talay Hotel Co. Ltd. and Narai Hotel Co. Ltd. for The Barai Hua Hin and Narai Hotel, respectively.

The two properties will mark the debut of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand, joining Hyatt’s portfolio of 15 hotels across seven brands, including Park Hyatt, Andaz, The Standard, The StandardX, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and Hyatt Place.

Slated to open in late 2026, The Barai Hua Hin will sit next to the beachfront Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. The resort will feature 90 rooms and suites, a wellness center, a central pool, gardens and two restaurants — McFarland House and The White House. It will also offer spa services with 18 treatment rooms and eight residential spa suites.

The Narai Hotel is scheduled to open in 2028 under The Unbound Collection. Rising on the site of the original Narai Hotel in Bangkok’s Silom district, it will be part of Hatai, a new mixed-use development featuring dining, retail and community spaces designed by Heatherwick Studio.

The 250-room property will include an all-day restaurant, a rooftop restaurant, a lounge, fitness facilities, a pool and flexible event space.

“We are proud to announce these plans to introduce The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand in Thailand with two distinctive properties in Hua Hin and Bangkok,” said David Udell, group president for Asia Pacific at Hyatt. “This marks an exciting chapter in our brand growth in the country and the Asia Pacific region. It underscores our commitment to delivering unique luxury experiences that today’s travelers increasingly seek.”
